He writes about engineering organizations, co-hosts AI podcasts, and contributes volunteer technology leadership to the Mazilon mental well-being initiative.

Dekel Asaf works at the intersection of engineering leadership, software architecture, and practical AI. His leadership experience spans CyberArk, eToro, and Transmit Security, across security, infrastructure, trading, data, and product engineering. He focuses on developing managers, making ownership clear, and understanding the systems in which teams work.
He remains a hands-on builder through open-source projects including EdgeIntelligence, which explores on-device language-model inference, and Agentics Patterns, a collection of runnable agentic workflows. He writes about systems thinking and engineering organizations, and co-hosts the Hebrew AI podcasts Beyond the Model (מעבר למודל) and Unpacking the Buzz (לפרק את הבאז) with Shiron Babi. He is a TechGym speaker and contributes volunteer technology leadership to the Mazilon / Living Positively mental well-being initiative with Clubhouse.
